Lead Brick
Pitts Little Corporation's interlocking
lead bricks are produced for radiation shielding. The standard
interlocking lead brick face is 4” x 12” with a thickness of
1”, 1-1/2”, 2” and 2-1/2”. Custom sizes are available. The
chevron shape allows the bricks to stack neatly and eliminate
line of sight seams. Because of the ease with which lead
bricks can be manufactured and installed, interlocking lead
bricks are an ideal radiation shielding material, particularly
when space is at a premium.
